Business Description
Biotechnology Developer of processes and systems that produce
high yield, predictable, reliable, scalable, sustainable algae oil,
residual biomass and algal biomass in an indoor climate controlled
environment.
Mission Statement:
Algae Farm’s proprietary technology addresses the worldwide demand for development of processes and manufacturing of systems capable of producing high yield algae oil, residual biomass and algal biomass needed to support the growth of the nutraceutical, cosmetic, bio-plastics, renewable energy, clean energy and future algae commodity market sectors. Clean and Renewable Energy sectors require scalability and sustainability of feedstocks to increase production capacity. Specifically, our proprietary technology will enable us to produce, sell and deliver higher yield algae derived feedstock to these sectors profitably.

MORE INFORMATION
Algae Farm™ has
developed a proprietary (closed) indoor fully-integrated algae
development system, Algapond™, for the consistent production of algal
biomass, algae oil and residual biomass for commercial use. The
specific algae strain chosen will determine the appropriate growth
medium, exposure to light and extraction process employed. The
range of grade and quality create feedstock used for biofuels and
food-grade protein rich powder. The output can be modified to fill a
commercial end users specific requirements and to meet the appropriate
ASTM and other regulatory standards which for the powder also include
inexpensive mass to be burned to generate electricity.
Algae Farm's system minimizes and reuses water and minimizes power required for the generation and growth of algae. Production is easily monitored using an automated multiple tank system. The proprietary (patent applied for) process automates the entire process from early stage introduction to harvest, and then to extraction and packing. The process limits contamination of the algae mass; and it allows for simultaneous production of multiple strains of algae for different commercial applications.

The
Company’s Pilot to Scale Production Validation Report, June 2010,
supports (at stabilization) an attained growth rate of 75,684 gallons of
AlgOil™, 1,272,492 pounds of residual biomass or 1,817,840 pounds of
algal biomass per indoor Algae Farm acre.
Our
target growth rate is 142,329 gallons of AlgOil™ and 2,393,038 pounds
of residual biomass or 3,418,625 pounds of algal biomass per indoor
Algae Farm acre. Continuous improvement of the capacity
and outputs are expected to continue throughout the commercial delivery
of products to the food and fuel industries.
● Research, design and development of our sustainable and scalable algae biomass production system has been completed and proven as per Pilot to Scale Production Validation Report, June 2010
● Mechanical & Process technology is ready for commercialization
● Specific methodology of technology is to produce high yield, predictable, reliable, scalable, sustainable algae oil, residual biomass and algal biomass in an indoor climate controlled environment
● Primary uses in nutraceutical, cosmetic, bioplastics, renewable energy, clean energy and future algae commodity market sectors market sectors
● Algae are primarily grown, harvested and extracted outdoors using sunlight and water (fresh or salt
depending on the algae strain)
● Growing anything outdoors is problematic due to climatic uncertainties
● Growing anything outdoors is problematic due to climatic uncertainties
● Climatic uncertainties result in unpredictable and unreliable production yiel
● Unpredictable production yield will result in an inability to sustain growth required for
commercialization
● Scalability is necessary to produce high yield algae oil, residual biomass and algal biomass
● Our system is modular and scalable to be used anywhere in the world, indoors with access to water and
power
● ABC Revenues
